3/16/05 After talking to the Mathworks, discovered that a java bug in R14 (no SP) and lower keeps browsehydraburst's sliders from operating on large numbers... you can't slide past burst #21475.  So make sure you have the latest MATLAB.
3/9/05 revert back to the .fig file for browsehydraburst too.  Fixed some small bugs, thanks Rachel & Charlene.
3/3/05 revert back to the version of flagbadadv that requires the .fig file as data does not automatically load into the non-fig file version.
3/1/05 adr2cdf can now handle mutliple sampling schemes in a file, thanks to Chris and Rachel.
2/3/05 Designated transmissometer focal length to be in meters so attenutation comes out right.
1/11/05 Fixed a few more bugs.  Updated documentation.  Made browsehydraburst and flagbadadv stand alone without their .fig files, adr2cdf now concludes gracefully when the end of a file is detected.  Added the tool fixbadsensors for removing bad data scattered throughout other sensors (like then the Hydra decides to go on vacation for a few seconds in the middle of a burst).

12/15/04 Fixed a few little semantic things, inconsistencies, typos, etc. that I found.  Overhauled the documentation and initiated the review process for an open-file report.
12/1/04 Found that attenuation was being written to the trans voltage variable in adv2nc.  Fixed this.  adp2cdf was choking on druck file data embedded after in the file header, it should detect and skip this for cpu versions 17 and higher.
10/25/04 Remove glocal attributes that were not appropriate for the BBV file from the *s.nc and *b.nc files.  This should make viewing of those files easier.  Updated the documentation, added description of global attributes.
10/19/04 Fix bugs.  Add the EPIC key for CTD conductivity.  Fixed druck code, it works on at least one data set.
10/18/04 Fix pcadpambiguity so it will still function on bursts with less than 401 profiles, but I'm not sure how good it will be.  Add trans volts for situations where attenuatation is calculated.
10/15/04 Two days ago we had a meeting which finalized what we really needed to see in the BBV.   This version implements those decisions, a couple of things I have not got to yet (listed in todo above), but I want to get this on the street for Rachel (thanks) to find bugs...
10/5/04 Add to output of PCADP, need ambiguity velocity as ENU, output in nc file as statistics only (i.e. mean for burst).  Remove certain unchanging variables from the burst file.  These are more properly expressed in the stats file.  Have run the toolbox on serveral data sets successfully.  Need to run more to find the more subtle mistakes.
9/17/04 Last upload before I going into the field until Oct 5th.  I will be out of touch of email until then.  Time may permit some work on the to do items.  The plan now is to find bigs and stabilize the toolbox at this point, then see how we'd like to do a major revision.  Your feedback would be invaluable.
9/16/04 Updated the metaExample.m scripts to what's working for me now.  Fixed more bugs.  Added new EPIC keys for Vel Std. dev.  Added the mask option for pressure on ADVs, as Std. Dev. press cannot be calculated correctly without it.
9/15/04 Fixed some bugs in pcadp2nc from when I added trans support.  Put up a draft of the documentation.  Fixed the comments so the MATLAB help system can easily access help in all the functions.
9/14/04 Use gmedian in xyz2enu.m so that a few NaNs don't ruin all the data.  Fixed a bunch of other bugs intorduced by last week's changes.
9/14/04 ATTENTION: there may be some troubles running this toolbox on MATLAB v6.5.  This toolbox was developed in MATLAB 7.0, and we did not expect to find differences, but we have found one issue so far.
9/10/04 Express raw ext sensor data as volts.  Add trans to attenuation code.
9/10/04 ATTENTION: found that MeanPrfLag and StdPrfLag were not being written to the PCADP stats.cdf file.  Now fixed.  If you care about these, you many have to reprocess your data.
9/9/04 ATTENTION: new attribute requirement for transmissometers... focal length needed for attenuation calculation, you will have to add this to your metadata files
9/9/04 Found and fixed the getquality error, added statistics median, min, max for velocities in the .nc statistics files for ADV and PCADP.  Changed the velocity variable names to match in both PCADP and ADV (both are upper case now, U, V and W).  Change valid for brange and vrange to 10,000,000 for mm units.  Fix bin height calculation to the calculation as defined by Sontek.
9/2/04 Rachel and Jessie had duplicated a bug in getquality that I have not been able to reproduce in my setup... stand by for more research
8/29/04 Fixed a problem when burst temperature is not recorded (record sensor = No)
8/24/04 Caught some bugs.  Fixed them.  Added gmedian, gmin, gmax, etc.  Make sure your version is up to date on all the files.
